Location: Ho Chi Minh
What you'll be doing:
- Lead & manage all aspects of qualitative and quantitative consumer research
- Prioritize spending for research programs, preparing and managing research budgets
- Discuss specific business issues with relevant stakeholders and recommend appropriate research design/plan to address business issues
- Turn research findings and data into actionable insights to inform and impact business decisions, i.e. conduct relevant analysis / interpretation and synthesis of multiple sources of consumer and market data to drive deeper understanding of categories and consumers
- Create insightful reports and presentations that clearly and succinctly highlight the actionable insights combined with business implications/strategic & tactical options
- Take an active role in communicating research findings and disseminating consumer & market learning to key constituents
- Identify category opportunity gap and work closely with brand teams on new product development
- Manage tools and processes that enhance operations of the insights function - including managing a project management database, and organizing a repository of research studies and vendor materials
- Actively participate in building the consumer insight competency/ capabilities. Effectively manage external suppliers for consumer insights and research
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree level
- At least 2-year experience at relevant field
- Fluent written and spoken English
- 6 years minimum of market research experience, ideally on both agency and client sides
- Experience in full range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and techniques – experience in consumer segmentation & shopper research an advantage
- Some experience / interest in alcohol & non-alcoholic beverages
- Problem solving attitude and result orientated
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical mindset, ability to think strategically and demonstrate business & marketing acumen
- Great data visualization and presentation skills to provide recommendations based on insights
- Team spirit/ Strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable and able to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate interest in learning and actively seeking out new research approaches, suppliers etc.
