Role Overview:
Develop and implement effective planning strategies to optimize operational efficiency, meet customer demands, and drive overall business growth.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources for production
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and demand planning team to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with finance and budgeting teams to develop and manage the planning budget effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring business continuity.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team.
- In-depth knowledge of planning methodologies, inventory management, and planning techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years planning experience including a minimum of 5 years managerial experience.
- Bachelor’s degree and preferred APICS CPIM certified
- Experience with ERP
