The Procurement Specialist, General Services is responsible for managing the Source to Pay process for a variety of general services, including but not limited to facilities management, office supplies, finance and IT services.

The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders (including Local and Region) to identify procurement needs, developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, maintain optimum point between time-cost-quality and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage the procurement process for assigned categories of general services, from identifying procurement needs to awarding contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements, develop procurement strategies, and manage supplier selection.
- Develop and issue requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotes (RFQs), and invitations to bid (ITBs) as needed to secure competitive bids from suppliers.
- Evaluate proposals, negotiate contracts, and make recommendations for supplier selection.
- Manage the procurement process to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, including maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure that contracted services are delivered in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in procurement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager.

- Experience with using Ariba as e-sourcing platform
- Fluent in local and English language (spoken and written)
- Ability to work in virtual teams
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, with experience in managing procurement for general services preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, TCO mindset, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
