Role overview
- Assist in the development, revision, implementation and review of Environment Management Systems, programs, standards and initiatives.
- Assist site managers and employees in training and development (awareness, behavior, technical) in Environment management.
- Review accidents and incidents and ensure lines of reporting are followed within their Site/country network.
- Participate in Risk assessments, manage the administrative part.
- Initiates and participates in problem-solving activities.
What you’ll be doing
People Management
- Management role ensuring compliance to Environmental Management within the Site/Country
- Supports Environmental training preparation and execution.
- Assists SC managers and employees training and development (awareness, behavior) in Environmental Management
Process Management
- Advise and support the site management team on all Environmental issues within their areas of responsibility (incl. accidents investigations, risk assessments)
- Monitor, track and ensure legal compliance for the area.
- Stop work in any area if conditions are unsafe (Stop work authority)
Performance Management
- Responsible for Environmental data reporting at the Site/Country level
- Supports and performs local Environmental performance reviews, identify trends, initiates and participates in problem solving activities.
- Managing Environmental area financial budget (OPEX)
- Supporting and advising Functional Heads in Environmental improvement projects (related to OPEX and CAPEX)
Functional Specific Management
- Conduct field observations, inspections, coaching and guidance, 40% of time minimum in the field.
- ISO 14001 certifications including follow up.
- Supports local Management teams liaise with service providers and contractors to ensure their compliance with local systems.
- Responsible to manage the local plan of Environmental audits.
- Participate in cross audits.
- Consulting & expertise on Capex projects
- Advises and is a member of the local Crisis Management Team or/and Emergency Response Team in case of critical or serious Environmental
- Participate in Risk assessments, manage administrative part.
- Participant in the company GEMBA Kaizen
Process Management
- Provide detailed EHS input into site Long Term Development Plan (LDP)process
- Advise and support the site management team on all EHS issues within their areas of responsibility (incl. accidents investigations, risk assessments)
- Monitor, track and ensure legal compliance for the Country
- Stop work in any particular area if conditions are unsafe (Stop work authority)
Performance Management
- Being responsible for setting EHS KPI s at their respective site in line with Country, Region and Group targets (make proposal to be agreed by CSC)
- Ensuring EHS KPIs are implicitly understood and managed efficiently at an appropriate level (i.e.: LTAR, CO2 emission, waste)
- Being responsible for EHS data reporting at the Country level
- Initiates local EHS performance reviews, identify trends, initiates and participates in problem solving activities
- Setting and managing EHS department financial budget (OPEX)
- Supporting and advising Functional Heads in EHS improvement projects (related to OPEX and CAPEX)
Functional Specific Management
- Conduct field observations, inspections, coaching and guidance, 25% of time minimum in the field
- ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 (or ISO45001) certifications including follow up
- Supports local Management teams liaise with service providers and contractors to ensure their compliance with local systems
- Responsible to manage the local plan of EHS audits
- Acts as a member of the CSC EHS network: share significant incidents and lessons learned, share expertise, participate in cross audits
- Consulting & expertise on Capex projects
- Advises and is a member of the local Crisis Management Team or/and Emergency Response Team in case of critical or serious H&S or E incident
- Driving Carlsberg excellence development in the area of responsibility

Education and Experience:
- University degree in Environmental Management or necessary experience from relative position in Supply Chain.
- 1-3 years’ experience in Environment management relevant to position

- Fluent in local language (spoken and written)
