What you’ll be doing

People Management:

  • Organise (internal & external) resources needed for line(s)/ area via team leads and/or Maintenance manager
  • Ensure maintenance team updated on priorities of work issues & objectives via team leads and /or Maintenance manager
  • Builds people capability throughout the organization fully utilising the community to gather momentum and grows individuals
  • Supervises/ responsible for external contractors for safety, quality & results
  • Recognises good work within the area

Process Management:

  • Ensures work order plan is communicated & completed with quality including feedback of actual time taken or any improvements recommended
  • Ensures operational control checks are being carried out, i.e. parameters and adjustments to standard
  • Budget tracking is being completed - spare parts & labour hours are recorded at the right standard to track expenditure against line(s) / areas
  • Takes the lead in planning of weekly service windows based on PMS issues and maintenance cycles
  • Ensures robust overhaul planning and follow up process against line(s) / areas
  • Ensures operator maintenance tasks are completed to the required standards both through direct process confirmation and through system compliance check
  • Initiates improvements on the workplace organization in order to improve efficiency, safety and hygiene
  • Participates in developing of process sheets and changeover matrixes
  • Identifies the root causes of equipment malfunctions or defects
  • Continuously demonstrates and promotes root causes analysis, defines countermeasures and validates their effectiveness within the team
  • Responsible for ensuring maintenance standards related to the area are complied with COM, drives SOP development and process confirmation
  • Ensures collaboration and integration among the production and maintenance teams

 

Performance Management:

  • Leads relevant PMS meetings
  • Leads line/ area 5Ss for service station, tool centres and localised stores
  • Ensure and support de-tagging
  • Ensure technical teams follow FIFO process for spare parts to ensure no obsolete parts or failures from age fatigue components


Functional specific Management:

  • Lead risk assessments & LOTO compliance checks or development at the line(s)/area
  • Leads initiates and tracks RCA for line(s) / area
  • Coordinate support for changeovers & start-up / shut down lines processes where needed
  • Analyse/Report KPIs/KAIs of the line and initiates improvement activities
  • Process developer & verifier of Standard Maintenance Procedures
  • Actively supports defining Carlsberg Excellence focus areas
  • Actively works on Carlsberg Excellence targets leading the development of the implementation approach in alignment with Site KPI/KAI
  • Supports and in some specific cases owns the targets delivery of efficiency and effectiveness by bringing in “New ways of working”

What we’re looking for

Education and Experience:

  • Higher or University degree in Engineering (mechanical/electrical/automation or food technologies)
  • 2-3 years’ experience from relative position in Production environment
  • Experience in Lean/ Continuous Improvement programs
  • Experience in TPM pillars and application of methods and tools
  • Expected Basic Engineering competencies

Expected Basic Engineering competencies:

Mechanics:

  • Understands fits and tolerances, welding terminology, and welding technology
  • Reads and understands production drawings
  • Is able to make tolerance chain and geometrical dimensioning analysis
  • Understands strength of materials

Hydraulics and Pneumatics:

  • Understand pumps, valves, pipes and fittings
  • Reads hydraulic circuit diagrams
  • Understands compressed air terminology
  • Understands pneumatic components, pneumatic circuit design and troubleshooting, servo-pneumatic

Instrumentation and Measurement:

  • Builds process specification and uses instrumentation to ensure that process control, quality and safety standards are met

Electrical and automation:

  • Understand the principles of process control and can ensure that this is applied in the design of standard applications; includes measurement and control of process, how to select a field instrument including analogue and digital sensors and actuators
  • Understands and applies the principles of motion control; includes servo drives, encoders, distributed intelligence used in filling and packing machines and end-of-line equipment
  • Understands legislation and international standards concerning machinery safety circuits and can ensure this is applied in practical application

Language skills:

  • Fluent in local language (spoken and written)
  • Fluent in English (preferable)
