Role overview
The objective of Senior Specialist - Trade Marketing (Visibility) is to conduct the execution of visibility strategy to optimize amongst channels, ensuring cost efficiency, and building effective management processes from production to outlets.
What you’ll be doing
- Consolidate and align all necessary information and working materials (designs for brand concept verification, samples, signed color proofs, briefs, technical specifications, etc.) with the cross-functional team and visibility specialist for all categories.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional team and vendors to discuss the design, specifications, and construction of promotional materials during the development stage. Present information to the Line Manager for further action.
- Conduct the end-to-end process for POSM, Signage, including production, logistics, and storage, while continuously evaluating effectiveness.
- Create product catalogs and POSM materials for the sales team.
- Develop tools and metrics for quarterly evaluation of POSM, Signage effectiveness and productivity.
- Provide support to categories in the development, production, and logistics of customized, cross-category, and new product launch POSM materials.
- Monitor the implementation of the POSM, Signage visibility strategy by regularly assessing Carlsberg’s presence in retail stores compared to key competitors. Propose plans to improve Carlsberg’s position.
- Monitor POSM inventory levels according to deadlines and approved storage quotas.
- Ensure compliance with quality and cost standards in the local POSM category/channel development strategy.
What we’re looking for
1. Knowledge - Skills - Personality:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related fields
- Years & Type of Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a visibility, POSM/merchandising or related within the FMCG company.
- Strong understanding of in-store and channel visibility
- Strong project management with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a creative mindset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors
2. Main Interactions Within & Outside Organization / External & Internal Environmental Factors:
- Internal: Channel Development, Sales Operation, Sales Front-line, Legal, Channel Operations, Brand , Marketing, Logistics
- External: Customers: Retailers, Outlet Owners; Suppliers
