Role overview
The purpose of the Senior Specialist - Trade Marketing (MOFT) is to develop and execute trade marketing plans and customer activity plans to drive distribution & sales volume; drive trade marketing agenda within MOFT channel: (1) Hyper, Supper; (2) CVS, Mini Mart, Independent Chain to ensure that company meet short & mid-term growth objectives.
What you’ll be doing
1. Joint Business Planning (JBP) for in-charged Key Accounts
- Develop and manage JBP strategies and plans for in-charged Key Accounts
- Collaborate with sales teams to align trade marketing activities with account-specific goals and needs
2. Consumer Promotion Planning
- Integrate consumer promotion plans with the overall brand marketing calendar
- Coordinate the execution of consumer-facing trade promotions and activations
3. Budget Management
- Oversee the budgeting and financial management of trade marketing programs
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximize return on investment
4. Execution and Agency Management
- Deploy and manage the execution of trade activities and brand projects
- Coordinate with external agencies and suppliers to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery
5. Program Evaluation
- Assess the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and identify areas for improvement
- Provide recommendations for future program enhancements
6. Market and Competitor Insights
- Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities
- Provide regular updates and data-driven recommendations to the broader marketing team
7. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and report on key trade marketing performance metrics
- Utilize data insights to optimize trade marketing strategies and tactics
8.Others task
- Assist with various ad-hoc requests and projects as needed to support the broader trade marketing objectives
What we’re looking for
1. Knowledge - Skills - Personality:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Years & Type of Experience: At least 3 years in trade marketing, channel management or related field preferred experience in FMCG company.
- Understanding of trade marketing and retails landscape
- Proficient in data analysis, report generation, and presentation skills
- Good at communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environmeT
- Good command of English communication and computer skills
- Proactive, energetic, confident, and independent
- Very result-oriented
- Self-motivated and ability to handle multiple task
- Creative and passionate, willing to take challenges.
2. Main Interactions Within & Outside Organization / External & Internal Environmental Factors
- Internal: Sales Operation, Sales Development, Sales Capability, Sales Front-line, Finance and Accounting, Brand Marketing, Procurement, Logistics
- External: Retailers, Outlet Owners and Service Agencies
